#193 of 366: This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody), LAUREL

What a gorgeous guitar up there! It stands out in this song with a beautiful sound throughout. LAUREL’s delivery is her typical rough at times/cooing at times and it’s lovely. It is QUITE the different take from the original!

  1. uh, this one was fantastic! I love the Talking Heads, and sometimes it’s hard to hear a cover of a song you really like in the original, because you just want it to be that. But this one was delightful. Literally just vocal and guitar, as simple as can be, and it was so, so good.
