The wonderfully talented Lauren Mayberry, lead singer of the band Chvrches, now has some solo stuff out there on the streaming services and I cannot recommend her beautiful Scottish voice more. I’ve been lucky enough to see them live a couple times and boy do they put on a show.

Maeson has a super distinctive voice and some of my favorite parts of his music is just how dark they sound. Dark rock? Is that a thing? Dark rock sounds like goth rock. We might need to workshop the name.

Man the bassline in this song kicks. I never was a heavy listener when it came to blink, but I remember Adam’s Song standing out from their other stuff. Love that song.
